At the Heart of It

The Upcycling Project by Cloket, supported by the Green Hub Small Grants Programme 2023 under Dusty Foot Foundations and funded by the CSR Project of Royal Enfield, is designed to transform textile waste into opportunity. By upcycling post-production and post-consumption textile waste, we focus on creating sustainable livelihoods while conserving cultural heritage.

Alongside upcycled products, we also craft unique, handcrafted indigenous items that celebrate the rich traditions of local communities. Each product tells a story of culture, heritage, and sustainability, empowering artisans and creating meaningful impact.

Our initiative emphasizes transparency by ensuring customers know and appreciate the artisans behind every creation. This connection fosters recognition and supports the livelihoods of skilled indigenous makers.

The project is building a network that connects stakeholders—artisans, small businesses, and waste suppliers—through meaningful collaborations. By creating a reliable system for sourcing textile waste and providing artisans with opportunities to showcase their work, we’re driving positive change in communities and reducing waste.

With a focus on sustainability, cultural preservation, and artisan empowerment, Cloket’s upcycling project bridges the gap between tradition and modern sustainability. Every product represents our commitment to leaving a lasting impact on the environment and the lives of those we work with.
